An employee is smoking outside and throws a lit cigarette into a trash receptacle sitting next to the building. A fire ensues in the trash bin, ultimately spreading to the building and causing $125,000 in fire damage.

General Liability

During a snow storm, a customer of the bank slips and falls on ice in the bank parking lot, breaking her ankle and incurring other related injuries. She sues the bank for improper maintenance of the parking lot and is awarded $100,000 for her injuries.

While driving a bank-owned vehicle, an employee is rear-ended by another vehicle while stopped at a traffic light. The other driver is uninsured, so the bank’s auto policy provides coverage for the damage to the bank-owned car.

Workers Compensation

A bank teller cuts his finger while on the job and requires stitches. Afterwards, he develops a staph infection which requires hospitalization.  The injury ultimately results in a $40,000 loss payout.

Commercial Umbrella

While working on the roof of the bank's building, a contractor trips and falls off the roof, which causes severe spinal injuries and results in his incapacity to work. Overall cost of damages is $6,372,000.
