ATM Rider

The ATM Rider extends coverage to offsite ATMs (automated teller machines) while the Financial Institution Bond just covers ATMs located on the bank’s premises, (subject to Insuring Agreement B “On-Premises” deductible).

Claims Examples
  • A bank-owned ATM in a grocery store is burglarized. The loss includes the cash missing from the ATM.

  • An ATM on the bank’s premises is burglarized. The ATM Rider provides coverage for the loss at a lower deductible level than that provided by Insuring Agreement B-On Premises.

Features
  • The ATM Rider permits the insured to schedule a lower deductible for all ATMs--both on and offsite.
  • Coverage is for cash losses. It does not cover damage to the machine, failure of the machine to function properly or loss due to the fraudulent use of debit, ATM or credit cards.
