Eric joined ABA Insurance Services directly from Progressive when the Professional Liability Group (PLG) split off in April 2010. At Progressive, Eric joined the Professional Liability Group as the Division’s Director of Legal in 2008 after practicing in both the Litigation and SEC/Corporate Transactions practice groups in Progressive’s Corporate Law Department. Before joining Progressive, he was an associate at Baker Hostetler LLP, where his practice focused on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. Eric earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame and received his bachelor's degree from John Carroll University.
In his spare time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family and starting home remodeling projects that often have to be completed by competent contractors. Eric and his wife have three beautiful children, ranging from toddler to teenager, that fill the refrigerator calendar with various athletic and school events and activities. When the Steiners are not at one of the kids’ activities, they can often be found playing board games while watching the Browns, Indians, Cavs or Notre Dame compete and, occasionally, win.

Her alma mater, the Penn State Nittany Lions, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are also very close to her heart. In what’s left of her spare time, Lisa enjoys reading and travel and recently returned from an anniversary cruise to Europe!

Pat rejoined the ABA Insurance Services team in the summer of 2012 after spending the prior sixteen years working as a combination underwriting manager/business technology leader for General Reinsurance in Stamford, CT. He has a law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College, and a Bachelor's degree from The College of the Holy Cross.
Even though Pat thoroughly enjoys quiet nights at home, he rarely lets the grass grow under his feet too long. With his now grown children dotted across the East and Midwest, the Subaru is often gassed up on the weekends, ready for adventure. When not travelling abroad or visiting with his children in Columbus, Ithaca, or Chicago, Pat’s favorite pastimes include taking in a ball game (especially his beloved Tribe), getting lost in a riveting work of fiction, attending mind-blowing concerts, and taking crisp night walks. Pat has a soft spot for skating rinks, family photos, all-things-Cleveland, and an excellent cup of coffee. Being one of nine, Pat is surrounded by dozens of nieces and nephews, some of whom are now parents themselves. While not yet a grandparent, Pat relishes the opportunity to usher in another generation.

Mike has over a decade of experience in the marketing, sales and underwriting of professional and management liability insurance coverage for community banks. Mike has also held Business Leader, Senior Underwriter and Underwriter positions with the Program. Mike holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, a Masters of Public Affairs from Indiana University and a B.A. in economics from Hiram College.

When not thinking about business development metrics and strategy, Mike spends time rooting for Cleveland sports teams, working around his 90 year old house, and serving on the Board of a nonprofit that raises money for his local school district. He also enjoys water sports and staying active through various physical fitness pursuits. Mike lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, where his wife is a teacher and his two boys attend school.
